I often forget why I love the Mac so much. I get so used to using the Mac that I forget that it is so much better than the alternatives out there. Then once in a while an app comes along that reminds me of just how great the Mac is. Fantastical is one of those apps.
I don’t like seeing my desk, untidily filled with papers, documents and mail printouts. However, it was the case until a few days ago. [...]
If you didn’t know this already, I am obsessed with Twitter, more accurately I am obsessed with Twitter clients. I try almost every new one whether it is no the Mac, Windows or on my plethora of mobile devices. Today’s target app is called Janetter for Twitter. It is available in the Mac AppStore for free. I went into using this app with great hope. I use TweetDeck for my main Twitter client, and have for quite a while. I love the multicolumn view that TweetDeck provides. It makes your Android look and behave like Windows Phone 7. Now I know what you’re thinking: It is just a shell, and it either doesn’t function at all or just has limited functionality. Trust me, that’s what I thought too, but that was before I tried it.
